People have an internal radar that can sense fakeness a mile away. Faking a personality or status can only bring temporary value. However in the long run it will undoubtedly attract judgment from others. This judgment then breeds self-doubt and uncertainty.
Our values and beliefs are out of whack. The more we have, the more we want. Nothing and no one can bring us happiness, and when it happens, it’s fleeting or fake and we seek validation somewhere else (cue Instagram and Facebook).
Why do people think it’s so easy to leave your job when you want to pursue something new? As if you don’t have bills to pay and mouths to feed!
The bad news is that it is not the best idea to leave your job before you’ve already established yourself somewhere else. The good news is that doesn’t mean you cannot or should not pursue something new.
