Our values and beliefs are out of whack. The more we have, the more we want. Nothing and no one can bring us happiness, and when it happens, it’s fleeting or fake and we seek validation somewhere else (cue Instagram and Facebook).
Antisocial personalities do not tend to seek validation from others. Their self-assurance and independence lead to imagination and innovation. Being original enough to chart your own vision requires that you be comfortable in your own company, with your own thoughts.
Educational skills help to get your foot in the door, but essential life skills are what get you the gig. It is not uncommon for less qualified individuals to be more successful than their abundantly educated rivals. Essential life skills are what differentiates them from the crowd.
